New Logo, New Look and New Stories of Hope
This month, we’re announcing exciting news for Hollywood Community Housing, the roll out of a new brand identity to convey our dynamic story to our partners, our residents, our supporters and the community.
Inspired by our Hollywood roots.
Hollywood is the home of the film industry known worldwide for creating stories where dreams come true, where heroes emerge, where hopes are realized. That’s where Hollywood Community Housing draws our inspiration.
Like the magic of movie making, the goal of Hollywood Community Housing is to make the dreams of every household come true. It may be the dream of rent that is affordable, or a safe place to sleep at night, or an environment where children can thrive; these are the dreams we want to help make possible.
Today, we’re unveiling our new logo, which distinctly embodies the Hollywood dream.
At its core is a new tag line, “Building Stories of Hope.”
Through our brand and communications, we’ll be sharing stories of the people, the buildings, the neighborhoods, the heroes, the triumphs, and the newfound dignity for residents and families. We’re so pleased to have our roots in Hollywood, where we will continue to build while expanding our work to new neighborhoods and bring award-winning, state-of-the-art design and architecture to multi-family housing that improves the lives of working families, formerly homeless households, seniors, veterans and special needs households. Even more, we will provide supportive services like life-skills training, educational opportunities and mentorship programs to take our residents beyond affordable housing. Our dream is to build hope. Because when people have hope, they can build their future.
A Hollywood Story: Books, Backpacks and Bright Futures.
Our Books, Backpacks and Bright Futures program is already improving the lives of children in our communities. Through this program, we provide backpacks filled with books and school supplies to give them a jump-start on reading and nurture a love of learning. Last year these children logged over 8,500 minutes of reading, and finished in 4th place in Scholastics’ Summer Reading Challenge. A great story indeed, but not as great as the difference we saw in the passion, enthusiasm and dreams of our kids.
We hope you share our excitement. We want you to learn more about what Hollywood Community Housing is doing to help transform lives. We’ll be sharing more stories on our website, in our newsletters, upcoming events like our 17th Annual Flavors of Hollywood Fundraiser, our 2nd Annual Book Fair, and three grand openings. The year will hold many great surprises.
Thank you for your continued support. You’re helping us make a difference in our Hollywood community!
