The site for Euclid Family Housing is currently owned by the City of Santa Monica and HCHC was selected by the City Council through a competitive process initiated in 2023. In May 2024, HCHC entered into an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement (ENA). Kevin Daly Architects has been selected as the architect for this 15,000 square foot site located at 1217 Euclid Street near the intersection of Wilshire Blvd. The approved project concept is to develop 48 units of affordable rental housing and a majority of the apartments will be family-sized units with 2- and 3-bedrooms. One of the apartments will be reserved for the onsite manager and the remaining 47 apartments will serve households earning between 30% and 60% of area median income. nThe site will also include 40 parking spaces for residents, bicycle storage, on-site laundry, community room, play area for children and a rooftop terrace.
